fancy seeing you here!

Hi! My name is Laura Gallardo, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have my Master’s of Social Work from UT-San Antonio (go roadrunners!) where I developed a passion for integrating culturally responsive care into clinical work. My work is centered in empowerment, understanding and partnership with my clients. After graduate school, I continued my training at Yale University’s Child Study Center as a postgraduate fellow. My training involved a deep understanding if evidence-based practice, as well as person-centered care dealing with complex mental health issues. While at the Child Study Center, I developed and piloted the Critically Conscious Clinician workshop series. Preliminary results and feedback have shown that patient-facing clinicians greatly value the gentle confrontation and co-learning we have done in the space. I’m dedicated to engaging in anti-racist, critically conscious, culturally responsive care and work as I continue forward!
